Because it was mentioned in the Starpack brief that I am interested in doing I wanted to look into 'bow out' or 'injection' moulding for plastics.
This all seems fairly standard and I can see that this limitation is to keep costs at a reasonable level even though they were going for a 'luxury look'. However, this is a bit of a deal breaker for me, I wanted to do something more environmentally friendly with recycled laminated paper that is folded in an intricate and inventive manner. But this brief really doesn't allow for it. Perhaps I will need to do some re-thinking.
