This expansion of the fat face logo has a clearest connection with wood type, with its heavy line weight and softened serifs. The drop shadow however, clearly suggests digital origins. Although this is possible with wood type, the way the shadow is directly next to the letters rather than a disconnected shape suggests digital origins and methods of recreation.
