I have found that sable hand writing like fonts have become synonymous with certain types of book, romantic. This could be because of their strong relation to hand writing and there fore to the writing of love letter and the more personal side of things. There is no doubt that there is a personal edge to seeing someone's hand writing rather than standard type.
