The main section of this design is most heavily influenced by bone letter-foms. this cane be seen in the extreme contrast in line weight as the stroke curves and twists. The flourishes around the word also bare calligraphic origins, in the way that they curve smoothly like growing plants, such a thing can only be achieved, effectively, by hand.
