Statistics Representation 01

As part of our research one member of our team went away and found some crime statistics for Leeds and students in particular. Our favorite of the stats are as follows:

1. Leeds has the third highest crime rate after manchester and London.
2. One in three students are victims of crime.
3. 20% of all robberies each year happen in the first 6 weeks.

After we had decided to focus on these a couple of group members started to develop visual ways of conveying these statistics.

We really tried to maintain a simplistic in your face look throughout the graphics and felt that the limited colour use of red white and black helped us to do so. We liked this so much we have decided to implement it in the other areas of design for this project.
