Whilst the animation was starting to take shape a friend on he course suggested we look at the intro sequence for The Man with the Golden Arm by Saul Bass.
The interaction of the shapes and type is really interesting. Its simplicity is wonderful.
Although the finish is slightly more sombre than we are hoping to create the simple movements that allow the design to take centre stage is something to take heavily into consideration when creating the animations.
